Wes is currently working on a contemporary queer YA romance novel. Originally from The Netherlands, he is now settled in the UK and has a first class bachelor's degree in English. He occasionally reads domestic thrillers, but his favorites are still YA books. He is well-informed in the field of gender and sexuality, and is interested in identity formation, especially in teenagers. His feedback style is honest, energetic, (but above all) motivational, and he's comfortable doing LGBTQ+ sensitivity reads. Some of his favorite books are: THEY BOTH DIE AT THE END (Adam Silvera), THE SONG OF ACHILLES / CIRCE (Madeline Miller), NOAH CAN'T EVEN (Simon James Green), IF I WAS YOUR GIRL (Meredith Russo), ARISTOTLE AND DANTE DISCOVER THE SECRETS OF THE UNIVERSE (Benjamin Alire Sáenz), and SYMPTOMS OF BEING HUMAN (Jeff Garvin).
